O’Neill Industrial, an air solutions company, expects demand for oil free air compressors to increase in the coming years due to increased investment in the agri-food and pharma sectors in Ireland. The company made the observation as it celebrated the anniversary of a 45 year partnership with Ingersoll Rand recently.
Since the company was founded in 1970 by John O’Neill, O’Neill Industrial has been a distributor for Ingersoll Rand compressor products. It now boasts an impressive blue chip client base supplying a wide range of air compressors to companies like Irish Distillers and Kerry Foods.
Austin O’Neill, Director at O’Neill Industrial said, “I’m proud to say we’ve maintained a strong relationship with Ingersoll Rand over the last 45 years. Throughout that time both companies have been firmly focused on quality, reliability and customer service. We’re a good team. We have a grounded relationship, one that is built not only on the success of the past but potential for future successes as well.”
Looking to the future, Austin O’Neill noted, “Both agri-food and pharma sectors are thriving*. These industries need high-quality compressed air in processes such as dehydration and packing. With ongoing investment and expansions at a number of plants, combined with the need for large companies to achieve energy efficiencies, we expect to see more companies invest in new installations.”
Presenting O’Neill Industrial with a special award to mark the 45 year anniversary, Mathias Brunelle, EMEIA Channel Distribution Director, Ingersoll Rand, said, “We value our relationship with O’Neill Industrial as one of our key distribution partners in Ireland for Ingersoll Rand Air compressor products. We congratulate O’Neill Industrial on their success and look forward to growing with them in the future.”
